In keeping with the principals of the BALANCED' Horse feeds concept, we have become aware that some horses and ponies appear to be intolerant to feeds containing barley. Whilst appreciating that barley may only be a contributory factor in the whole picture, our research indicates that by removing barley many of the symtoms exhibited; urticaria (lumps and bumps), filled legs, erractic behavior, etc. often disappear.

Many of these equines however, need complementary feeding for the work they are being asked to do. BARLEY FREE ™ is a mix formulated especially for these reasons - completely without barley. It requires no further supplementation when fed at the recommended levels.
