This ration is formulated to replace the Developer Foal Starter and should be introduced 3-4 weeks before weaning. (Sudden feed changes at the often traumatic weaning time should be avoided.)

The energy level is carefully controlled, to help avoid overtopping, (allowing the foal to become to fat) which can be disastrous for young, developing bones.
